- The aircraft, owned by the Latvijas Gaisa Satiksmes Akciju Sabiedriba was parked at Spilve when the airfield was
struck by a whirlwind. The aircraft was destroyed when the wind picked it up, broke it's tie-downs, and dropped it to the ground from a height of six metres.
